Hi, I'm Gabrielle "Gabby" Palinkas, a birth doula dedicated to helping families welcome their babies with confidence, calm, and support. I belive every birth is unique, and I proudly support all birthing choices, from unmedicated home births to planned Cesareans and everything in between.

When I’m not at a birth, I’m usually crafting something cozy, reading a new book, or out exploring with my dog. My three cats love to pop into video consults like they’re part of the team, and honestly, they kind of are. I love creating handmade baby blankets and little keepsakes, and those quiet creative moments help me recharge so I can show up fully for my clients.

My doula journey began with a simple desire: to understand every option available to me as I prepared for motherhood. Listening to the birth stories of people I cared about made me realize how many families navigate pregnancy and birth without the support or information they deserve. When I discovered birth doulas, something inside me lit up, I knew this was the path I was meant to follow. When I became pregnant, I stepped fully into that calling. And when I later experienced miscarriage, my heart shifted in a profound way. I learned what it feels like to search for answers, for comfort, for someone who understands. That experience didn’t stop my journey, it strengthened it. It gave me a deeper sense of purpose and a fierce commitment to showing up for families with compassion and clarity.

Today, I support families with a blend of emotional presence, physical comfort techniques, partner guidance, and evidence‑based information, so you never have to walk this journey alone.

Growing as a doula is an ongoing, intentional part of how I care for the families I serve. After completing my DONA‑approved training in January 2024, I began working toward certification and later became a Child Passenger Safety Technician to support families beyond the birth space.

I’m continually expanding my knowledge in pain management, postpartum care, lactation support, TENS therapy, and babywearing. Each new skill allows me to offer more comfort, more guidance, and more confidence to the families who invite me into their birth journey.
